The ICTP South American Institute for Fundamental Research (ICTP-SAIFR) is a new South American regional center for theoretical physics created in a collaboration of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) with the São Paulo State University (UNESP) and the São Paulo Research Funding Agency (FAPESP). The ICTP-SAIFR is located at the campus of the Instituto de Física Teórica (IFT-UNESP) in the city of São Paulo and activities include seminars, minicourses, schools and workshops. The center has funding for short-term and long-term visitors as well as for postdoctoral and permanent researcher

The monodromy at infinity mentioned by Alessandro at the end of his talk implies that the crs expansions of his proposed dressing phases is problematic. This is confusing to me. It’s also not obvious whether hoping for analytic continuation alone to capture all the properties of the dressing phase in the [-2pi,0] region is sufficient. With “short cuts” the corresponding u plane exhibits a new kind of periodicity, which one expects to be present in the full theory. It’s a priori not clear why analytic continuation from a non-periodic to a periodic region would introduce periodicity in the dressing phases. Related to this are constraints that arise from fusion and the identification of boundstates with bound state number > k and higher momentum states. As we discussed in December 2023, these fusion constraints are needed if one is to have a spectrum without infinite degeneracies. The dressing phases need to satisfy these novel mixed-flux conditions too.
There’s a simpler expression for the R-R chi^- phase than the infinite product of Barnes’ gamma functions presented here. This was proposed by Ekhammer and Cavaglià and is a simple modification of the expression we wrote down in 2013. It basically involves removing the log cut that the 2013 proposal had (which we had at the time because we wanted to match to the one-loop calculations for semi-classical strings). The construction is reviewed in our December 2023 paper where we also generalise it to the mixed-flux setting

Seria interessante definir antes esse i := √(-1).
Penrose vs Witten mindsets, amazing
Thank you thank you 🤠🐎
Fix your teeth, dude
Olha a Erika alí!
Pd. Saudações a Lucas e equipe. 🇺🇾

Ótimo curso ... Obrigado Lucas e equipe.

brabo demais
